Vadodra local court has issued notices to sexy siren Mallika Sherawat and owner of a luxury hotel in Mumbai to appear before it on November three in connection with a vulgar dance show during a programme. President of Baroda Bar Association Bhaskar Rao had moved the court on January 23 demanding action against Mallika and owner of J W Marriot hotel for presentation of a vulgar dance performance in the hotel on Dec 31, 2006.
The court had earlier directed police to inquire into the matter and submit the report. Following the court order, police had accordingly recorded statements of Mallika and the hotel owner where both admitted of the dance performance in the hotel premises on the New Year eve. A case was filed under Indecent Act and Immoral Traffic Act
