Tabu lends hand to a young patient

Film and TV celebrities are known to contribute for a cause. Here is one such example. If all goes well, 16-month-old Mohammed Qasim, whos deaf by birth will be able to hear as well as talk after Dr Hetal Mehta operates on him in K.E.M. Hospital on June 27.  It is said that Tabu along with other colleagues and came forward to help the child.

Says a source close to Qasims family, “If the cochlear implant is not fitted in Qasim’s ear in the next two months, he will be deaf and dumb for life. It is said that Tabu has contributed Rs 40,000.
