All India Democratic Women’s Association demanded ban of the movie, Raksha, by Ramgopal Varma, on the allegation that it promotes superstitions. The association along with DYFI State Committee organized a protest near the theatre screening the movie and destroyed the movie posters.Finding fault with the Censor Board for allowing the movie without any cuts, the association called for condemnations from intellectuals and people from different walks of life.
